Nice and clean place to stay. It's dated, but there's a lot of nice upgrades that made the room comfortable. A generous sized fridge, a table with chairs, updated bedside lighting fixtures, and a little sink. The hotel offered real dishes and silverware. Ample parking. Conveniently off the highway, near stores, gas stations and restaurants. Jean was a wonderful manager that introduced me to much of the geological history of the area. This was a good stop for the trek to Flaming Gorge Recreation Area. I completed the loop in about 5 hours, despite being sick all day.** Beautiful area to visit, although no activity at the moment with the government shutdown and seasonal breaks. It was a beautiful drive with lots of amazing views at the pull offs. **DO NOT EAT AT WILD MUSTANG RESTAURANT. I got food poisoning and didn't enjoy my day to the fullest. I forced myself to finish the loop, then spent the remainder of the day in my room here and didn't eat again for over 24 hours.

I stayes in a room with 2 queen beds. They switched us to the ground floor as there were no elevators. There wasn't any soap in the room except for shower pumps. The room was nice, but the fan was blowing dust or something as our belongings were covered in a fine layer and we both had allergic reactions to something. Unfortunately, they had minimal choices for dinner if you didn't want fried foods. Some of the buildings were under renovation. We did feel safe, however and it was quiet.

Great stay very close to Arches. Nice and quiet. Easy check in. I appreciate the full fridge in the room.
